My Birthday Healing 🥹 & timeline collapse story

A couple of days ago, I celebrated my 46th birthday on December 28th, and it was one of the most healing and transformative birthdays of my life.

As a Capricorn baby—born just three days after Christmas and three days before New Year’s—birthdays have always been bittersweet. Growing up, it was challenging to gather friends for a celebration since so many were busy with family or traveling. For years, I carried the story that my birthday, and perhaps even I, was a bit of a burden.

On my 40th birthday, a dear friend surprised me with a trip to Jamaica, which was a deeply healing experience, helping me release the belief that my birthday was burdensome. This year, my husband went above and beyond to create a day that reflected how special I am. He stayed up late decorating with balloons, woke up early to pick up my favorite cheesecake from a local bakery, made me breakfast while I slept in, and planned an incredible spa day that helped me feel truly cherished.

This birthday was more than just a celebration—it was a timeline collapse.

The old patterns of over-giving without receiving, of choosing relationships where energy wasn’t reciprocated, of feeling unworthy of the love I give so freely—all of those loops have dissolved. This year, I let go of the imprint of self-sacrifice and opened to the joy of reciprocity and balance.

And my greatest birthday wish for you is this:

May you collapse the timelines, patterns, and loops that no longer serve you. May 2025 be the year where you only accept relationships, careers, and opportunities that honor your highest good.
